Make it Up Comic Club is a comic art club for young people of any age, and has been based in Lewes since 2012.

The club is a fun, relaxed and social way to improve upon drawing and story writing skills through the diverse and imaginative comic book format.

From Horror to Superheroes, Slapstick Comedy to Abstract Sequences,creating a visual storybook is a great way to explore our imaginations.

Led by artist Iain Paxon, the sessions are informal and supportive, with each young artist being helped and
encouraged to find their own approach, style and motivation towards their own artwork.

Utilising a wide range of creative skills such as drawing, storytelling, graphics, lettering and writing, the
young artists are encouraged to work on individual projects as well as group activities designed to inspire each other.
